Why We Shouldn't Be Anxious.

Matthew 28:20 gives us the reason not to be anxious.

  "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the  world. Amen."

Also Hebrews 13:5&6 says:

  "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.

  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."

     It is imperative for us as Christians to know that God is ever with us, no matter what the trial, test or circumstance He will never leave us.  Even if we don't have everything under control, God does.

We shouldn't be worried about anything.  Philippians 4:6-7 says;

  "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

     When we face the various dilemmas of life we should not worry about the outcome, but rather come to God in prayer about the situation, and thank Him for His answer.  When we do this God's peace rests upon us, because by faith we have assurance that He has heard and is working out our situations according to His will.

We Must Cast Our Cares upon The Lord

Psalms 55:22 says;

  "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

Also 1Peter 5:7 says;

  "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

     The Word tells us that if we hand over these seemingly troubling situations to the Lord, He will sustain or keep us and not allow us who are righteous to be moved, or for us to slip and fall.  So often we try to keep our problems and ponder them over and over again, but we must release them to God and let Him sustain us.
